Teaser Tuesday (17) and Tune In Tuesday (13) and Top Ten Tuesday (8)

BTW how do you like my new blog header? See my TBR book piles growing as I focus on completing a novel in a month. I love it.

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. Here are the rules: Grab your current read. Open to a random page. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page, and BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS

I finally started reading Hunger Games! YAY!!

Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

"My father knew and he taught me some before he was blown to bits in a mine explosion. There was nothing even to bury. I was eleven then. Five years later, I still waking up screaming for him to run." (Page 4).
That's not a spoiler, is it? Well, it happens so early in the book. This book really takes off running.

Tune in Tuesday is hosted by Ginger at GReads. Hop on over there and join in the fun!

I'm getting on my husband's nerves with this song. But it makes me want to dance EVERYTIME I hear it. I want to learn the dance and break it out whenever the song comes on.

LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem

This other song I think everyone should listen to it every morning while getting ready for work. Its a confidence/esteem builder. Lol. The video is a little...eh...risque but the song is catchy. I love these guys.

LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week's topic: Top Ten Books I Had Strong Emotions Over
Columbine by Dave Cullen. For obvious reasons.

Heart on a Chain by Cindy C. Bennett. This book made me fighting mad, then sad, then happy.

Light in August by William Faulkner. POWERFUL! That's all I can say. Maybe I'll start reviewing some Faulkner.

Alex Haley's Queen: The Story of an American Family
Queen by Alex Haley. I cried. I can admit it.

Big Girls Don't Cry
Big Girls Don't Cry by Connie Briscoe. I think I read this book at least 5 times when I was a teenager.

I only got 5 this week. There are more but I'm having a tough time choosing so I think five is a good number.
